Llanstefen Beach & Castel
This is a local beach that's perfect for those who enjoy long, peaceful sandy beaches. Though it's not recommended for swimming, it's a great spot to let your children burn off some energy. The beach stretches for around 5km and offers a nice climb up to the castle ruins. When the tide is out, there's plenty of room to run around. Best of all, this beach is free to visit! There are also some food options available, including a fish and chip hut and an ice cream hut. It's only a 20-minute drive from the Hollies, so it's an easy day trip destination.

Oxwich Bay
Oxwich Bay is a beautiful and isolated bay located in the Gower peninsula, offering stunning views of sunsets. The beach itself is a large expanse of soft sand where visitors can enjoy various activities such as surfing, exploring the dunes, and appreciating the salt marsh. Getting to Oxwich Bay is an easy task, as it takes around 40 minutes to reach the bay. Along with the natural beauty of the area, there are also fine food options available to enjoy. With so much to offer, Oxwich Bay is a great destination for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the tranquility of nature.


Tenby Beach
Tenby Beach is a beautiful sandy beach situated in the heart of Tenby, a lively old town that boasts many artisan shops as well as traditional beach shops selling souvenirs and beach toys. During peak season, the beach can get quite crowded, and parking requires a fee. One can also take a boat ride over to Caldey Island to visit the monastery, Tenby is only 50 minutes away from our holiday rental.


Rhossili beach
Rhossili Beach is considered one of the top beaches in the Gower peninsula, Wales. It is situated in a car-free area and requires walking to reach the beach. Despite this, there are plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants to visit in the vicinity. During summertime, visitors can stroll through sunflower fields and walk amidst fields of lavender, which can get crowded but are worth the visit.
Gower Pick Your Own, a farm where visitors can pick and eat fresh Welsh strawberries, is located on the way to the beach. It takes around 70 minutes to travel from our holiday rental to the beach carpark, visiting this beach is a must, and it will provide a memorable experience.

Folly Farm
Folly farm is fun for the whole family this is a working farm with zoo soft play and traditional funfair and more. we have an annual pass as our son loves it here. about 30 mins' drive from the house.
